STUDENTS LEADING CHANGE BOOKLET
GOAL
Students Leading Change is an annual WCC event celebrating student accomplishments throughout the year. For the program, I wanted to create something that felt celebratory and fun while still being easy to read.
The goal was to create a magazine concept that felt like it belonged to the Pacific Northwest while also experimenting with editorial layout and typography. The feature story was about Starbucks union success, so I wanted the cover to connect the story with the personality of the PNW.
DESIGN
I went with a soft green and yellow palette to give the program an earthy, playful feeling. I also used highlighted sections throughout the layout to break up the information and keep the pages visually interesting. This helped the program feel more lively without taking away from the important information.
