Northwest summer of art institute bookelt
GOAL
The goal of this project was to create a fun and engaging booklet for young art students while working with only two colors. Since the booklet was half-letter size, I wanted to make each page interesting without making it feel too crowded.
DESIGN
I wanted to use this project as a chance to experiment more with typography, so I made the headers a huge focal point and let them take up a lot of space on the page. I went with pink and blue because they felt youthful and gave me plenty of contrast to play with. I also added burst shapes throughout the booklet to give the pages a little more energy and personality.
